Crealev says that it has developed a new technology that allows for large levitation distances with low energy dispersion. To show off the technology, they produced several levitating lamps and displayed them at Dutch Design Week.
They won’t explain exactly how they’re pulling this off, keeping their secret to themselves. The only thing that immediately comes to my mind is magnetism… otherwise they’re bending space-time or something, which I wouldn’t put my money on. I’m assuming that the lights are getting power from batteries, but if this technology transmits power too, then I think we may have a real life-changing winner on our hands.
