This is one of the most unique ideas I’ve seen in a while. A company called Moxia has produced USB Cells, rechargable batteries with built in USB ports. To recharge, you flip a part of the battery away to reveal a USB port and plug it into any USB 2.0 host.
$25 for a pack of two is a little steep to say the least, but as an Industrial Design student, it’s almost worth the novelty alone. Unfortunately they are only available in the UK right now.
