Making Viruses Run In Linux

I’d like to link you to an article written by Matt Moen on News Forge. In the article, Matt shares his experiences while trying to find which Windows viruses are most Linux compatible. He uses the Wine application to run a copy of Windows inside of Linux, and then subjects the installation to 5 different viruses he grabbed out of his logged e-mails. Each virus “supports Linux” to a different degree, and Matt breaks it down using a 5 Penguin scoring system, based on how thoroughly a particular virus hoses Linux.

The article doesn’t really say anything new, but it’s a very funny read.
