Operation “Cardboard Box Computer” has turned into operation “Desk Computer”. I am trying to build a computer into my desk. I have a slot load CDROM drive. My plan is to cut a slot in the desk and mount the drive behind the slot. Then I can slide CD’s into my desk… that will be slick. The machine is only a PII-300 with a 6gig hard drive… but I am just playing around right now. If I can get everything layed out right then I will replace parts and get it up to date. I will post pictures soon.

On a personal note… Last night I was driving my friend from his house in Garner. I went off the road about three inches because there were strong winds and oncoming traffic. There was about a 2 inch drop off of the edge of the road into a rut. When I went off the edge, both of my right side tires blew out. Now I’m searching for these tires, and my car is sitting infront of my house with one spare and one flat. I had to get it towed 25 miles, which cost be $50. It was a very interesting night.
