Sketch

Here is that sketch I was talking about. It is just a shape that was in my head. I sketched it out in art class on a big sheet of paper. This is a second sketch done in Physics class. I might try to make a copper sculpture of it with glass balls.

I saw a 350Z in person for the first time today in the Southern States Nissan dealership showroom. It is such an awesome looking car. 287hp on the sticker, with 20/26mpg fuel mileage. The car was silver. I think I would have to have blue. They got the car in this morning and by the time I got there at 4:30 someone had already bought it. $36k on the sticker. That is not as expensive as I had thought it would be. I cannot wait until the aftermarket community gets a hold of these! Check the car out here…

It was a pretty boring day at school today. English was English class as usual. I came up with a pretty cool design in art, I may post a scan of it later. I might take some copper and try to make a sculpture out of it. Physics was tooo simple, discussing adding, subtracting, and multiplying vectors. I’m so glad it’s Friday, and a long weekend at that!

This is cool. RVTec has developed a sled, called the Guyver, for the Palm m5xx series and the Sony Clie line of PalmOS PDAs. This sled lets you use PCMCIA cards, Type II to be exact. This will let you use wireless communications cards, such as WiFi and Bluetooth. The thing that really bugs me is that they just say “Sony Clie” and do not tell the series. My guess is that it is compatible with the N or S series, and not the T, NR, or SL/J series.

At least now that the last three of the mentioned series all use the same data connector, we may see more accessories for the line. I doubt we will see anything like the Guyver though.

I just want to write a bit about a program I have been using for a while now. Trillian is a program that replaces AIM, Y! Messenger, MSN Messenger, ICQ, and IRC Clients with one program that merges all of these services into one. In addition, it also lets you sign on with as many screen names as you want. I am currently running 3 AIM, 2 Y!, 1 MSN, and 1 ICQ accounts. It is still in beta, but I have found it to be relatively stable. You can download it at http://www.trillian.cc. The program can be customized in almost any way. For instance, I have it setup so that when someone IM’s me it creates a new IM window for them and auto-minimizes the window. So basically when someone IM’s me it just adds a window to my start-bar. The program is also fully skin-able. If you use AIM a lot, or find that you constantly have several different instant messaging programs open at one time be sure to check Trillian out.

This is a test of BloggerBot. It is a bot on AIM that posts every message you send to it onto your Blogger.com account. So far it looks like it is very easy to update a Blog if you get it setup right. I am still looking for a PalmOS app that will let me write posts on my Clie and have them published when I Hotsync.
