Tough Car Day
My car has been a handful of trouble for me today. Don’t get me wrong, I love my car! I drive a 1995 Nissan 200SX SEIt’s just today it cause me quite a bit of stress. Today I went to Lowes to get a key copied and as I pulled into the parking lot my car started to die. My CD player started hissing and fading, my power steering went, my brakes went, and my engine died. The car would not start. I called AAA and they sent a tow truck. While we waited for the truck we went in and got the key copied. When we came out about 10 minutes later I tried again and the car started fine. I called up the tow service and canceled my call. I drove to Advanced Auto to get my second new driver’s side drive axle (due to a torn CV boot, and then bad replacement axle). Of course, after I leave Advanced Auto and head to the Wolfpack Motorsports shop my car dies again. This time it died right when I got onto campus. After a few hours and a loaned battery the car is now in my garage with a charger on the battery. We measured the battery before we got it home and it was at 3 volts. That sucka was dead!
Tomorrow we have to take the left wheel off and replace the drive axle. I might explain that whole situation at another time, but at the moment I’m not feeling it.
